Integrating additional audio sources with original equipment head units was only originally possible with the use of an FM modulator. Therefore, when installing separate multimedia systems, for example a TV turner, a DVD player or a games console, the audio would lack the quality that the rest of the system demanded.
Connects2 identified this demand and began to develop a range of auxiliary interfaces. These connect to original head units via the CED changer port and simulate and original CD changer, whilst really playing the audio from another source. This means the audio can be produced at much higher quality.
In more recent years; the massive success of portable media or MP3 audio players has brought about a situation, whereby people now want to carry their music collection in their pocket, then simply connect to their car, thus eliminating the need to store CDs in their car.
All Connects2 AUX interfaces are designed to Plug & Play into the vehicle.
